David Matlin

Mr. Matlin co-founded MatlinPatterson Global Advisers LLC in July 2002, a global private equity firm that managed approximately $9 billion at its peak. Prior to forming MatlinPatterson, Mr. Matlin was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston and head of their Distressed Securities Group since its inception in 1994. Before joining CSFB, Mr. Matlin was Managing Director of distressed securities and a founding partner of Merrion Group, L.P..

Mr. Matlin holds a JD degree from the Law School of the University of California at Los Angeles and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Matlin serves on the boards of Flagstar Bancorp, Inc., Standard Pacific Corp., and Global Aviation Holdings, Inc.
